National Coordinator:
The National Board employs a full-time coordinator who administers the apprentice program under the direction of the National Joint Apprenticeship Board. In addition, the National Coordinator oversees the operation of the National Apprenticeship Office, The National Training Center in Kansas City, Kansas and the National Transit Local (NTL) Mechanic Trainee Program.
The National Coordinator also supports instructional and training activities and monitors the progress of individuals in the apprenticeship program. He verifies that each area is following the national requirements.
